Arvin Lal

Arvin Lal (born March 21, 1985 Queens, New York) was raised in East Brunswick, NJ and is the one of the co-founders of Shredz Supplements along with chiropractor, Michael DiMarco, which is known for its flagship line of all natural, gluten free supplements called SHREDZ.

SHREDZ

In 2011 Arvin And Co-founder, Michael DiMarco founded SHREDZ Supplements on a $15000 credit line after he tried a weight loss product, designed by DiMarco, and decided to mass-produce it. Built on a business model involving social media and fitness personalities, Arvin leads the company and its growing line of fitness products in Jersey City, NJ. SHREDZ has almost 50 million social media followers and employs around 50 people.

Shredz generated $90,000 in 2012, its first year of operation. Shredz generated $5 in sales in 2013, then going on to generate generated $20M in annual sales for 2014, representing a growth of 40,000,000%, with Wall Street calling for imminent IPO. Due to Explosive Growth, Shredz management has stated that they would like to be at $1.5B in annual sales for 2015, which leading sports nutrition economists say is "delusional".

Jersey Shore

Arvin appeared on MTV's Jersey Shore, a reality TV show based on the summer experiences of New Jersey and New York native cast member, in episode 11 of season 3. Arvin’s plot line continued through three more episodes after his appearance. Arvin traces his connection to the Jersey Shore cast to his friendships with Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino and Samantha "Sammi Sweetheart" Rae Giancola. His feature in the show’s plot involves adding to the relationship problems between characters, Ronnie and Sammi.

Personal life

Arvin received a bachelor's degree in business and economics from Centenary College and studied Economics at Rutgers University. He lives in Jersey City, NJ, where his company is based. Lal’s brother-in-law is bodybuilder and fitness personality, Anthony LeoGrande.
