Arun Raaza

Dr. Arun Raaza is an Indian businessman known for his research and business in the field of electronic engineering.

Education

Arun Raaza made his schooling in S.B.O.A mat hr sec school in Coimbatore and received his Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the Dr. M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute in 2007. In 2009, he earned his Master of Research in Photonics and Communication from the Institute of Advanced Telecommunications, Swansea University, and completed his Ph.D. in Communication Systems at Vels University, where he worked as head of the Department Of Electronics and Communication Engineering.

Research and development career & ARCOMM

As a student in 2006, Arun Raaza traveled to Kobe, Japan to attend the Next Generation Workshop. He also traveled several times to Singapore, Malaysia, and Dubai to present papers and to work in internship projects. He has collaborated in research with Swansea University, the University of Essex, NXP Semiconductors, Dynacoral, Malaysia Sumeet Research Holdings, and Standard Infosys.

Arun Raaza is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). In 2008, he presented a research paper at the IEEE Antennas and Propagation Symposium in San Diego, California. Another of his research papers was accepted into the selective IEEE Sarnoff Symposium in New Jersey. Arun Raaza has also been the main author in several articles contributed to IEEE and similar journals. He acted as a symposium chair at the IEEE WCNIS 2010 conference in Beijing, China.

Arun Raaza started his own Company ARCOMM Tech Solutions since 2011 where he is acting as Managing Director and CEO. Dr. Arun Raaza has contributed toward ten patents. His research primarily focuses on RF & antenna design (WiMAX, UWB systems), surveillance, easy vehicle monitoring and surveillance (EVMS), surgical robots, and controlling electronic gadgets using mobile phones.

Recognition

Raaza was awarded "Best Achiever of 2003 - 2007 Engineering Batch" at the Dr. MGR University. He was later promoted as Swansea University Ambassador while completing his Master's Degree. He has been commended by several ministers of India as well as by magazines in the United States, the United Kingdom, and India for his research.
