Artspace 1%

Artspace 1% was situated in downtown Copenhagen between 1997–2001, and conducted a series of exhibitions, seminars and concerts with Danish and international contemporary artists. Among others the exhibiting artists included Pierre Huyghe (F), Henrik Håkansson (S), Navin Rawanchikul, Rirkrit Tiravanija (Thai), Superflex (DK), Carsten Nicolai (D) Bigert and Bergström & Carl Michael von Hausswolff (S).

Alongside the exhibitions the Artmagazine 1% was published with relevant themes in contemporary art, which related to the current exhibition.

Artspace 1% was run by Jesper N. Jorgensen and Michael Thouber who also co-curated exhibitions for the UKS Biennale, Stockholm Art Fair, Kulturbro 2001, Images of Asia, and Cities on the Move Bangkok.

Public Educational Tours - Annika Lundgren. UKS Biennale, Bergen.
A public art project that led the audience around in Bergen on a guided bus tour with a narrative that mixed real locations with a fictional narrative.

The Future is Now! Louisiana Museum of Modern Art, Humlebaek.
Video Archive with 40 participating video artists from the Nordic countries. The exhibition was presented in Finnish architect Matti Saarinen Futuro UFO house in the park of Louisiana Museum of Modern Art, as a finissagefor the museum's millennium exhibition.

Hz - Carsten Nicolai. Kunsthal Kabusa Ystad
A comprehensive scultpurel sound installation by German artist Carsten Nicolai was produced and shown as a contrution to Kulturbro 2001

2000

TAXI Copenhagen. Mobile venue at DCCD - Images of Asia
The exhibition was shown in a number of Copenhagen's taxis as part of the DCCD Biennale - Images of Asia. Participating artists were Oladele Ajiboye Bamgboye (Nigeria / UK), Jens Haaning (GB), Koo Jeong-A (Korea), Olaf Nicolai (D), Ben Sadler (UK), Andrea Zittel (USA).

Moving Wall # 1 - Jeppe Hein. Stockholm Art Fair.
Solo presentation of Jeppe Hein's first interactive work of art.

Exhibition at the Stockholm Art Fair, IASPIS, and Lydmar Hotel in Stockholm as well as concert and closing scene was arranged in Stockholm.

Ornithological examples - Lars T. Mikkelsen. Stockholm Art Fair.
