Artak Vardanyan

Artak Vardanyan (; born 22 September 1989) is an Armenian TV host and journalist.

Biography

Artak Vardanyan was born in 1989 in Armenia, Yerevan. His real name is Artavazd Vardanyan. His mother is a nurse, his father is a mathematician. He has a brother. In 2005 he graduated school N 51 after Vardges Petrosyan. From 2006-2010 he studied at Yerevan State Pedagogical University after Khachatur Abovyan in the faculty of Journalism. In 2012 he graduated his Master's degree at the same university. He defended his thesis with the topic "The Role of IT technologies in our days".

TV and radio

  • In 1999 he participated in competiion anncounced by kids' channel Hayreniq TV and became the winner among 1,000 children.
  • In 2001 he hosted The History of Our Homeland TV program
  • From 2001-2002 he passed internship at Hay TV
  • In 2002 he hosted "Good Morning School" page within the frameworks of morning TV program on H2 channel.
  • In 2003 he participated in competition announced by "Media Initiatives Center" (ex Internews) and became one of the 6 participants of "We Are" regional program.
  • In 2003 he took part in the seminar of well known journalist Yuliya Muchnik after which he was given a chance to host NEWS Program on 1st TV Channel in Batumi. During there month-long training he also learned talk show hosting skills.
  • From 2003-2007 he hosted "We Are" TV program on Public TV of Armenia, which brought him first recognition
  • In 2006 he worked on "HayLUr" news program on Public TV of Armenia , for six months.
  • In 2007 toghether with Gohar Gasparyan he hosted Junior Eurovision Song Contest's Armenian broadcasting.
  • In 2007 Artak Aleksanyan invites Artak to become a member of "Banadzev" Team and to become the main journalist of "Special Reports" TV Program, due to which Artak acquired a wider popularity.
  • In 2009 he hosed "Eyewitness" TV program on Armenian Public TV which was based on real stories.
  • In 2010 on ATV Artak hosted the "Flight" TV program.
  • From 2011 - 2012 hosted the "Free Zone" talk show, which had the highest rating for a year.
  • 2012 was career slump year for Artak and he used that year by passing training s in different European countries
  • In 2013 he received an invitation to work for Pan Armenian Group to be the author-journalist of "The Time" TV Program
  • From 2014 until now Artak hosts "Yerevan is Speaking" talk show on ArmNews TV.
  • From 2016 until now hosts "Timatika" TV Program AbOUT Local Self-Governing Bodies
  • From 2013 until now hosts "Evening Yerevan" TV Program together with Diana Malenko on ArmNews Tv
  • In 1999 Artak hosted "Harry Potter's Club" and "Lyalyafa" kids' parade on Armenian Public Radio
  • From 2009-2013 hosted "Public Dozen" hit parade
