The Arrow 4 logo is one of the most familiar television logos ever used by local TV stations across the USA .

History and Information

The Arrow 4 logo was used on KDFW in Dallas, Texas (then CBS, now FOX O&O) from 1974 to 1989. Then WFBC-TV (now WYFF-TV) the NBC affiliate in Greenville, South Carolina started to used the italic version of the Arrow 4 logo in the colors of red and blue in the mid-1970s, then they changed it to gold until they dropped it in 1991. KMOL-TV (now WOAI-TV), the NBC affiliate in San Antonio, Texas used a similar version of the Arrow 4 logo around the early 1980s. KAMR-TV, the NBC affiliate in Amarillo, Texas used their own version of the Arrow 4 logo, and WHBF-TV, the CBS affiliate in the Quad Cities (Iowa/Illinois) used their own version of the Arrow 4 logo around the 1980s.
