Arron Chambers
Arron Chambers is a notable Christian author, energetic speaker, and pastor of Journey Christian Church is Greely, Colorado. He is also the President and Founder of Tri Life, Inc, an Adjunct Professor at Florida Christian College, and contributing Editor of the Christian Standard. He loves triathlons, his wife Rhonda, and his four children. 1
Life
Arron is the son of Roger Chambers and Linda Chambers. He has one brother, Adam, and two sisters, Leigh- Angela and Leslie. Arron has spoken at conferences like Christ in Youth, International Christian Retail Show, and the National Missionary Convention. He is currently the Senior Pastor at Journey Christian Church in Greely, Colorado. 2
Education
Arron has a bachelor of arts from Florida Christian College with a major in preaching and minor in counseling from 1992. In 1993 he also acquired a Bachelor of theology also from FCC. Finally from Abilene Christian University, he got a master of arts in church history/ theology in 2000. 3

Arron is the author of several books.
Running on Empy: Life Lessons to Refuel Your Life, Scripture to Live By is based on the Gospel of John and includes 21 outlines for living your life to the fullest. It also comes in a Spanish version. Scripture to Live By: True Stories and Spiritual lessons Inspired by the Word of God (released March 2007) Remember Who You Are: Unleashing the Power of an Identity- Driven Life (released July 2007) GO! (Released January 2009),, shows eight different Bible stories that inspires people to trust, tell, lead, work sacrifice, obey, risk, and serve. Standard publishing produced study guides and small group lessons that can go alongside his book. Arron’s newest book, Eats with Sinners: Reaching Hungry People Like Jesus Did (released November 20, 2009) is based on the bible verse “This man welcomes sinners and eats with them” from Luke 15:2. In this book, Arron shows that when Christ ate with sinners, it shows that he saw those he ate with as equal. He models the way Christians today can reach people using the same model that Jesus did- by building a relationship one meal at a time. 4
Be A Llama?
One of the phrases Arron is best known for is “be a llama.” You see it on his shirts and websites all over. So what does it mean to be a llama? Arron tells of an article he read where shepherds were looking for a way to protect their sheep and intead of using sprays or electric fencing. They came to the conclusion to put a llama midst the sheep because when a llama sees something, they lift their heads and walk straight at it. This scares the coyotes away because they avoid aggressive behavior. Arron’s point is that, as Christians, we should strive to be like llamas in that when we are afraid or come across hindrances in life, we would be courageous and walk firmly toward the problem. Then we’ll find that those problems seem to run away in the face of such bravery, which comes from the confidence in Jesus Christ. 5
TV Show
Arron was asked to host a show in Devner, CO called “Enjoy the Journey with Arron Chambers.” As the host and executive producer, his show launched on September 3rd, 2009 on KWHD channel 53 in Colorado Springs. The show includes encouraging messages from locations around the Colorado Springs area.
