Army School, Agra was established 01 Aug 1991 by the Army Welfare Education Society (AWES), and was formally inaugurated by Brig R Loganathan, UYSM on this day. Earlier it was known as Station Sainik School. The school was founded to cater for the educational facilities at this station for the children of Army personnel.

History

Army School Agra was established 01 Aug 1991 by the Army Welfare Education Society (AWES),and was formally inaugurated by Brig R Loganathan on this day. The school runs classes from I to XII and is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi vide affiliation no. 2130044. Today School is in 3 buildings Primary Block, Senior Block and Senior Secondary Block with 52 sections. The strength of the school is more than 2400. Army school is one of the premier school in Agra.

Army School Agra is affiliated to CBSE board and follows the scheme of as prescribed from time to time by the CBSE for All Indian Secondary School Examination (Class X) and All India Senior School Certificate Examination (Class XII). Streams Offered
