Arin Paul

Arin Paul graduated from the Asian Academy of Film & Television(AAFT), NOIDA in the year 2002. He started his career as an assistant director in Delhi and has assisted many film-makers in Delhi and Kolkata. He was awarded the'Rotary Youth Achiever of The Year (2008)'. He is also the founder member and President of the'Bangla Telefilm Club' the first telefilm club in the world'''.

He directed 3 documentaries for the NGO – Gravis in collaboration with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) of which one was on “Women Empowerment”, the second one on “Water Conservation” and the third one on “Agriculture”. He also directed three short films, one in English and two in Bengali. The English film was called “… and there wasn’t everafter …”. It dealt with the journey of an old woman through life to an old age home. Two Bengali short films were called “[...]” – one man’s thoughts on acts of [...], and “Bhindesi Tara” – the meeting of two people on a journey and how they relate as the journey passes by. Arin Paul was also the Project Co-ordinator for a UNDP project which involved teaching ten HIV+ people how to video-shoot a project. He has also directed fifteen Ad-films on traffic awareness for the Kolkata Police.

Arin Paul '10:10' starring Soumitra Chatterjee, Kanchan Mullick, Subrat Dutta, Aparajita Ghosh Das, Claudia Ciesla and others. He was also responsible for the concept and the story of the film. The film was produced by Morpheus Media Ventures Pvt. Ltd. and released on 28 November 2008. He is also working on the next Bengali feature film of Morpheus Media Ventures Pvt. Ltd. titled “Mixed Mosla”. This film is currently under development. Besides this film Arin Paul has other films in the pipeline. Arin Paul is Directing a show for Zee Bangla named Coffee & More (Monday to Saturday, 11.30pm). Arin Paul is also Directing a film titled Geetanjali to be produced by La Creazionee Entertainment Pvt. Ltd..
