The Archos TV+ is a DVR/Set top box by Archos.

Announced alongside Generation 5, the Archos TV+ is the first stand alone DVR station from Archos and performs similarly to a 5th Gen player with the DVR Dock. It will also include the Qwerty remote for navigation and internet use. The device is presented as competition to the Apple TV. After having been first presented in Mid 2007 the unit finally released in January after some positive initial reviews from CES 2008. The major downside in many reviews have been the lack of High Definition Content

April Press Conference

In late April Archos announced several updates to their current line of products including web TV and radio support, Adobe Flash 9 support, and TVportation for the Archos TV+. TVportation, similar to Slingbox and LocationFree, will allow users to watch content streamed through to internet from the Archos TV+ to their PC or Archos device, presumably only the Generation 5 units.
