Archibald Murray Campbell
Archibald Murray Campbell (October 27, 1843August 21, 1930) was a physician and surgeon in Westchester County, New York. Campbell was president of the medical board and consulting physician and surgeon to the Mount Vernon Hospital. He became president of the Mount Vernon Trust Co., in 1902.
Early life
Campbell was born in Warminster, England, on October 27, 1843, the child of John Campbell and Rachel Frampton, also of England. Campbell came to the United States at an early age and went to Columbia University, getting his bachelor's degree in 1865 and a master's degree in 1868. He got his medical degree from Columbia's College of Physicians and Surgeons in 1873.
Marriage and children
Campbell married Mary Louise Cuthell on September 17, 1873. Mary and Archibald had one child. After Mary's death in 1877, Campbell married Mary's sister, Emma Anne Cuthell on November 29, 1880 and they had two boys. After Emma died in 1902, Archibald married his third wife, Ella Seamon Reynolds on June 30, 1911.

Mount Vernon Hospital
Campbell was president of the medical board and consulting physician and surgeon to the Mount Vernon Hospital. He was also consulting physician and surgeon of the Home for Incurables at Fordham, Bronx for many years and served as attending physician at the New York Infant Ayslum. From 1903 to 1907 he was president of the Mount Vernon Board of Health. In 1952, the Mount Vernon Trust Co. merged into the County Trust Co., in White Plains, New York. In 1955, the County Trust Co., merged with the Chase Manhattan Bank, in New York.
Death
Campbell died on August 31, 1930, in Westchester, New York. Funeral services were held at St. Paul's Church, Eastchester, Bronx. He is buried at the .<ref name=Death/>
