Aquilent, Inc. is an integrator focused on Web-based software development for the Federal Government. Founded in 1979, Aquilent specializes in agency-wide Web presence, enterprise acquisition and finance solutions, compliance management, and enterprise content management. Aquilent delivers results through user-centered design, CMMI Level 2 processes, PMP project managers, and a vendor neutral approach.

• 1979: Founded as Century Computing
• 1998: Acquired by AppNet as a wholly owned subsidiary
• 2000: Acquired by Commerce One and remained a wholly owned subsidiary called Commerce One e-Government Solutions
• 2002: Divested from Commerce One and became a privately held company named Aquilent headquartered in Laurel, Maryland
