Apparente Libertà
Apparente Libertà is the longest pop song ever composed (76 minutes and 44 seconds) and released on a CD.
It was composed in 2005 by Giancarlo Ferrari (Vercelli, March 23, 1972), an Italian songwriter, and in 2008 it was published on a CD, whose low quality of the vocal track, perhaps due to the bad state of health of the singer (victim of a serious road accident in 1998), makes the understanding of the lyrics often difficult.
It is a synth pop song about important matters: distorsions of history, pollution, racism, the slavery and the illusions of the working class, the driven news spread by the media that make real democracy impossible.
