Apeejay School, Faridabad, located in Haryana, is a school established in July 1972 by the Apeejay Education Society. The School, is located in Sector - 15 with excellent infrastructure to cater to the all round growth and development of the personality of the students.

The school has a separate Primary wing housing classes I to V in a specially designed octagonal building. It is located in Sector - 14, covering a green campus of 2.5 acres dotted with flowery shrubs and ornamental trees. .

Affiliation

The school is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education for its All India Secondary and Senior Secondary Examinations and is also a member of the National Progressive Schools Conference. At the +2 level, the school has all the three streams viz. Science, Commerce and Humanities.

Infrastructure

The Senior school, is housed in its own three-storeyed building on a 9 acre campus. It has an auditorium, a swimming pool, a cemented basket ball court, a field where football, hockey and cricket can be played and a skating rink.

The Primary school has a two storeyed building containing 40 rooms for 20 sections.

Both the Senior and The primary school have a Fine Arts and Dance room.

Facilities

Library - The school library has a very good collection of books in different subjects and for general reading.

Computers - Five computer labs, one each for the Pre-Primary, Middle and Senior students and two for Primary school students along with two LCD rooms.

Science Labs - Four science labs for the secondary and senior secondary students.

Auditorium - Two auditoriums where various events, seminars, workshops and functions are organized.

Swimming Pool - The school has a 25m 6-lane swimming pool of high standard in which various inter-school and district activities are held. The swimming pool has a 1m diving board.

Games & Sports - two cemented basket-ball courts, a field where football, hockey and cricket are played and infrastructural facilities for badminton, table tennis, soccer, cricket, throw ball and volleyball.

Apeejay School, Faridabad alumni tops the IAS Exam - Ms. Mona Pruthi, a 1995 batch class XII pass-out did the school proud by topping the Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2005 conducted by the Union Public Service Commission.

Apeejay School, Faridabad gets Global Recognition - The 16th CEI and the 2nd GEY convention was held from June 27 to July 4, 2002 at Pracatinat, Italy. For the team from Apeejay School, Faridabad it was a matter of great pride that they were also amongst the privileged teams who were sponsored entirely by the ministry of Environment, Italy

National CBSE Athletic Meet - Rajat Singh, a student of the school won a gold medal in Long Jump in the under 14 years category at the National CBSE Athletics Meet held at Bhopal in 2005.

7th National Science Olympiad - 20 students of the school cleared the 1st round and in the second round, the All India 27th Rank was bagged by Anubhav Dua, 31st rank by Rakshay Jain and 34th rank by Shardul Tripathi.

4th National Cyber Olympiad - 7 students were awarded the Gold Medal and 11 students the Silver Medal. The school got the first position in Haryana state.

Indian National Biology Olympiad - Vidushi Mahendru & Gayatri Gandhi of std XII qualified the 1st round and were among the top 0.1% position holders in the country.

Indian National Physics Olympiad - Maanit Chhabra and Rakshay Jain of std XII qualified the 1st round and were awarded the top 0.1% All India position.

National Science Talent Search Examination - Maanit Chhabra secured 1st rank and Vridhi Chowdhry the 3rd rank in the NCR(National Capital Region of Delhi), in the PCM category.

47th Annual All India UN Information Test - 661 students took the exam and 506 students received Merit certificates. Anmol Madan of Std V was awarded the 2nd position.

Green Olympiad - 333 students participated out of which 13 students were awarded certificates of Merit.

Aryabhatta Inter School Mathematics Competition - Out of 800 students, Gazal Gupta was awarded the 6th individual position and the school was awarded the 5th position

National Squash Championship held at Ajmer - Aakriti Sehgal was ranked India's no 4 in the under 15 category.

CBSE National Shot-put Championship - Ramneek Kaur won the Bronze Medal at the National Level in the Under-14 category.

CBSE North Zone Aquatic Championship - 50 m. breast stroke event :under 12 category: Nandini Malhotra won the 3rd position

Delhi State Squash Championship - Aakriti Sehgal was declared the winner in the under 17 and under 19 category

District Swimming Championship - school team won the Championship Trophy for the 10th consecutive year. Nandini Malhotra was selected to participate in the Women's National Swimming Championship

District Inter-School Badminton Championship - boys team won the 1st position.

Roller Hockey State Championship - Ankit Agarwal was selected to represent Faridabad in the senior team

International Cricket Tournament at Sharjah Cricket Stadium - Dhairya Miglani participated in the Under 13 category with other participants from Sri Lanka, Pakistan & the U.A.E.

Apeejay School Faridabad is under the administration of the Apeejay Education Society. The school was established in 1972 and is functional in Faridabad since then. The school operates in affiliation with Central Board of Secondary Education and prepares the students to appear at All India Secondary and Senior Secondary Examinations at the end of class X and XII. The school is a co-educational, English medium school and is open to admissions from the pre-primary classes to class XII. The school publishes advertisement in the newspapers in September inviting the applications from the parents in the prescribed format. The forms are made available at the school and in March the applicant students have to appear for the written test and interview conducted by the school. Admission procedure for class XI begins after the board declares the results for class X and admissions are provided strictly on the basis of merit.
