Anithab Thamarassery
Anithab Thamarassery is an Indian painter, mural artist and art instructor from Thamarassery in Kozhikode district of Kerala, India. He is known for his mural paintings, canvas artworks and contributions to the art department in Malayalam cinema.
He is the principal of Thamarassery Chitrakala Vidyalayam, an art institution where he trains students in drawing and painting. Several of his students have won prizes in various art competitions.
Career
Anithab Thamarassery mainly works in mural painting, canvas painting and wall art. His mural works at the Thamarassery Kotta temple gained public attention.
He also created a series of paintings inspired by around thirty Malayalam film songs written by lyricist Gireesh Puthenchery, which received appreciation among art lovers.
Film career
Anithab Thamarassery has worked in the art Department Of several Malayalam films. He painted artworks that appeared in the film Charlie (2015 Malayalam film) starring Dulquer Salmaan.
He also worked as an assistant in the art department for the film Jacobinte Swargarajyam directed by Vineeth Sreenivasan, assisting art Director Jayashree Lakshminarayanan.

Personal life
Anithab Thamarassery is married to Deepa Anithab, a school teacher from Areekode in Malappuram district. The couple have two children, Devendu Anithab and Devasurya Anithab.
