The second book of the ANIMALIA ANGELICUS series. Ms. Kat is an orange tabby living with her owner, Kate Jensen. It is a tale of animals interacting with their owners, the owners interacting with each other. Your not-so-average day-to-day drama in a sleepy apartment complex in an arid desert amongst the mountains. It is lighter than the first book, full of humor and wit. It asks profound questions: Why do we love our animals so much? Do our animals love us because we feed them? Or will they still love us even when we don't? Do animals even know what love is? And are they really aware that we do love them, and they, in turn, are able to return that love? And even when we shirk our responsibilities of being a good caretaker of our pets, why do these animals still give us that which is "unconditional love?"

How far can that unconditional love endure without breaking? We shall see ...

The third and final book of the ANIMALIA ANGELICUS series. This is the story of Ullyses, a small dog of a military family. If a cat has nine lives, Ullyses has ten. Despite his minute stature, he has a big heart and would endure any burden and all the pains to remain alongside his very abusive and alcoholic master. The common theme of requiems is prayer for the salvation of the souls of the departed, and on occasions of more general remembrance.

AbOUT the Author

Larry Degala lives in Melbourne, Florida. Also, he is currently working on a science fiction trilogy that takes place in "Degalaverse", a fictional universe with its own unique history and cultures in an alternate future. On November 2007, he released "A Day in the Life of Cloud" 1 in the U.S. market.
