Anguidara
Anguidara is a five-piece industrial band fronted by David Wright, who creates the band's studio material single-handedly. Wright established Anguidara in 2003 with Matthew Pfeiffer, whom together after experimenting with heavy metal and electronic music, developed their own brand of industrial. Anguidara describes itself as Circle of Dust-meets-Zao-meets-Skinny Puppy, while members also cite influences such as Nine Inch Nails, Dream Theater, and Celldweller. The group plays metal and industrial festivals regularly, and in the process has developed a massive fan base.
Brian (of Blood from Above) collaborated with Anguidara for "Charade." Wright has also formed the side-project Prophecy Syndrome with Savi0r (Savior in Leetspeak).
Music
Anguidara's music consists of electropop-style synthesizer, metal guitar hooks, electronic beats, harsh vocals and variations thereof. The band's aforementioned influences are evident in their music.
Like Joy Electric and Celldweller, Anguidara's live band does not Contribute to its studio work with the exception of Eric from time to time.
