Angies

Angies (Thai: แองจี้ส์) was a Thai girl group that was known for a period of time, releasing albums under Polygram Thailand. They were called the Spice Girls of Thailand because of their resemblance to the Spice Girls, a famous girl group from England. Angies released only one album.

History

Angies consisted of five members: Nok-Piyamaporn Niam-un (currently named Punyisa Niam-un), Nueng-Nattanan Tiraphantham, Tom-Angkana Kongphasuk (currently using the name Athitaya Kongphasuk), Jan-Jenjira Klinsukhon (currently named Sinsaruta Klinsukhon), and May-Chanjira Khaosat. They officially debuted in 1997 under the label Polygram.

There are familiar songs in the Angies album, including the song "Chuan Rae Talot" and the song "Love You Baby"
