Angie Casey
Angie Casey has been working for WTVY News 4 since 1996. She moved to the wiregrass from her hometown of Jacksonville, Alabama.
Her television career began in Columbus, Mississippi and included time at stations in Birmingham, Anniston and Montgomery. She graduated from The University of Alabama in 1981 with a degree in Broadcast and Film Communications.
Angie began her time at WTVY as the 5 o'clock anchor and has since been named the 6 o'clock and 10 o'clock co-anchor. Angie has been voted Wiregrass Personality of the Year for the past 5 years. She has also received awards from the Associated Press for "Best Anchor", "Best Specialized Reporter" and "Best Series". She is most proud of her work done in the Gulf Coast region following Hurricane Ivan which helped raise $65,000 for hurricane relief.
Angie has served on numerous boards in the community including President of Chrysalis Home for Girls, Girls Incorporated, Wise Center for Child Abuse, Arthritis Foundation, Wiregrass Museum of Art and Music South.
Angie has two teenagers who attend Northview High School. They are members of the First United Methodist Church.
