Angela Suresh
Angela Suresh Also May Be known as Angela Goraphy is a American born Malayalee from the State of Washington. She has been commended as a performing artist for the Kerala Association of Washington for the last 11 years and has been the youngest, and most commemorated performers of the Seattle Malayalees. She has been trained for three years in Bharathanatyam; a traditional form of south Indian dancing and choreographs mostly all her performances.
Born and brought up in the states, Angela still has a strong cultural background for India. She understands and speaks fluent Malayalam. Being as her parents are from Kerala, known as "Gods Own Country". Her dad being from Kottayam, and her mom being from Kumarakom; both raised in India, wanted to give their children the best education and life possible so they came to the states, but even as that factor, she longs to live and return to India. Angela also has one younger brother.
She has performed for the Global Malayalee Council in 2006 and received an award from Gokulam Gopal at the Global Malaylee Convention in Cochin, India. Throughout her life, she has been commended not only as a performer, but for academic excellence. She is in the honors program at school and she aspires to me a Family NP.
Angela also has been known to do much for The INDIAN Community. She has been nominated as the Kerala Association of Washington youth representative two times (also the youngest youth representative of KAOW)and is ACTIVE in her church. She is also youth representative of the Seattle St. Georges Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Church and participates in the choir.
