==Early life==
Andrew is an Olympic standard volleyball player, and has had an international career.

In the year 2000, he was chosen to be a member of the Australian volleyball team, but missed playing, due to an injury to his shoulder.

==Coaching career==
Former Olympian Andrew Simos began coaching at [[De La Salle]]. His dedication and hard work led to a few of his playing making the NSW State team.

However Simos made the biggest impact when becoming the Master in Charge of Volleyball at [[Trinity Grammar School]]. Since his appointment as coach of the 1st VI, Trinity have won a number of CAS ([[Combined Associated Schools]]) Premierships, most of which were undefeated. 2006 proved a successful year for Simos, as both the Summer and Winter sides became Undefeated CAS Premiers.

It is Simos' energetic and positive attitude which makes him a successful coach. Simos is currently a trainer for the [[Sydney Cedars Sports Club]].
