Andrew Bloch

Andrew Philip Bloch, B.Sc. (Hons) (born December 18, 1973) is an English businessman.

Career

In September 2000, Bloch left Ketchum to co-found Frank PR with Graham Goodkind, the former Managing Director of Lynne Franks PR. Bloch assumed the position of Managing Director. The business grew rapidly, winning numerous awards for its work on some of the nation’s best-known brands including the likes of BlackBerry, Disney, Innocent, Alton Towers, Kit Kat and Hovis. The agency also represents a number of high profile personalities including Lord Sugar, Ronnie O'Sullivan and Aleksandr Orlov Frank’s work has been recognised by Marketing Magazine which named it PR Agency of the Year 2010. Frank are the first ever agency to win the Award more than once and have been a finalist or won the award outright every year since 2005. Frank have won or been highly commended at The PR Week Awards for Best Consumer PR Campaign for seven out of the last eight years.

In October 2007, Bloch helped negotiate the sale of the business to The Photon Group, an ASX-quoted marketing services group. Frank has continued its steady growth, including a new office in Sydney, Australia, which opened in April 2009 ,and it is now the 5th largest consumer PR consultancy in the UK. Bloch was credited in the 2011 PR Week Power Book as (alongside Goodkind) being responsible for, “turning Frank into one of the defining consumer PR agencies of its time.”

Bloch has acted as spokesman to Lord Sugar since 2001

Bloch is also an ambassador for Bright One , a volunteer run agency for the third sector. He is the PR advisor for the Child’s i Foundation, an initiative dedicated to helping abandoned children in Uganda , as well as BeatBullying , He is a founding mentor for The Key Club’s Business Friend programme. ,
