Andreia Gibau
Andreia Gibau (born August 3, 1995) is a Cape Verdean-American model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned as Miss Earth United States 2017. She represented the United States in the Miss Earth 2017 international pageant.
Life and career
Gibau is of Cape Verdean descent. She was born in the capital city of Praia in Cape Verde. At a few months old, her family emigrated to the United States and was raised in Brockton, Massachusetts. She recently graduated from with a degree in public relations. She started the St. John's University Best Buddies chapter which led her to become one of Phoenix Magazine's "30 under 30" for her philanthropic work.

Gibau was a semifinalist of Miss Massachusetts Teen USA 2014.
Miss Teen United States 2015
Gibau represented New York in Miss Teen United States 2015 and eventually won the title.
Miss New York USA 2017
Gibau was a Miss Photogenic awardee and 1st runner-up of Miss New York USA 2017 pageant.
Miss Earth United States 2017
On August 5, 2017, she represented Massachusetts in Miss Earth United States 2017 pageant in Alexandria, Virginia. She eventually won the title and was crowned by her successor, Corrin Stellakis of New York.
Miss Earth 2017
Gibau represented the United States in the Miss Earth 2017 pageant in the Philippines. She managed to place as a Top 16 semifinalist out of 85 delegates during the pageant.
