Andrei Popescu (businessperson)

Andrei Popescu (born May 30, 1985) is a Romanian entrepreneur and the  CEO at COSS VENTURES Romania. He is known in the cryptocurrency and blockchain community in Romania and Singapore.

Education

Born in Craiova, Romania, Andrei Popescu studied in Carol I National College and received a High School Graduation Diploma from 2000 – 2004. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Audio-Video Multimedia from University of Craiova (Universitatea din Craiova)  (2007). He also holds a Bachelor’s degree in General Business Management and Administration Management (2008) as well as  a Master’s degree in Business Management (2010) from the same university.

Career

Since 2006 Andrei Popescu occupies the position of Non Executive Director at WSX Consulting LLC in Romania. He was Managing Partner at Baris Futures LLC Romania throughout 2010-2012.

In 2013 and 2014 Andrei worked as Business Development Manager in AURIC PACIFIC GROUP LIMITED. Between 2014 and 2016, he was Head Of Business Development at Sollers Consulting, Singapore.

Since August 2016 Andrei Popescu serves as the Chief Strategy Officer at Exulto Consulting. In November 2016 he became the CEO of COSS VENTURES, a  platform offering cryptocurrency-related services.

Andrei is a member of Singapore Fintech Association (SFA),  ACCESS (the Singapore Cryptocurrency and Blockchain Industry Association ), Global Blockchain Network and WSX Ventures Group. He is a  Member of Bitcoin Foundation and TiE (an ecosystem for entrepreneurs) since 2016. He is  also a Founding Member and Vice President of ACCESS Romania (The FinTech, Blockchain and Cryptocurrency Association of Romania)
