Aní Tá Má

Aní Tá Má is the first studio album of the venezuelan band Malegua, edited in 2006.

In the album, the featured songs are 'Pa' Ti Na' Más', 'Con Tu Candela' (the song was initially named 'Candela', from the first band demo, but it was renamed for the album), 'Me Temo', 'Flor De Mi Jardín' and 'Reggae Muffin' Lady'.

Details

The album title comes from the wayúu phrase Ma'léiwa Aní Tá Má, used frequently by the band in their performances, that means God be with all of us. In this manner, the second part of the phrase was used as title for the album, giving it a double meaning itself.

The album was totally recorded in Tarareo Studios, located at La Colina Creativa (The Creative Hill in english) of the Metropolitan University in Caracas, under the executive production of Dariusz Waszkiewicz and the sound engineering by Jorge Herrera, known by his work with the also venezuelan group Cuarto Poder.

This production is characterized for the diversity of genres placed in every one of the songs, because of the many musical preferences and influences of each member of the band. In opinion of the band, the album is a sonorous experience, in where the listening people could appreciate a variety of musical shades, making it an auditive exploration to the fusion genres.

Robert Castro would be the lyric composer of almost all the songs on the record, being the exceptions the songs 'Con Tu Candela' (written by almost all the members), 'Tiempo Para Amar' (written by Sanjay Abbi), 'Mi Belleza' (written by David Rojas), and 'Reggae Muffin' Lady' (written by Robert and Leonardo), and the musicalization of the songs would be made by all the members of the band in conjunction.
