Amoolya (footballer)

Amoolya is an Indian woman footballer born on 11th July 1984. A Bangalorean by birth (Karnataka). Though she started playing from the age of 2 and a half. She started her career when she was 11 playing for Mahila Seva Samaja School team and BUWFC in Bangalore, represented Karnataka in the year 1998 in National Football Championships. A member of U 19 National team in 2002. A Midfielder, who is a product of Sports Authority of India, STC Bangalore, under the guidance of Chitra Gangadharan, who is SAI Coach and A license holder from AFC donned India colors in 2007,for Asian championship qualifier, and again for South Asian Games 2010. She is a regular member of the karnataka State football team for Women and has been representing the team since the year 1998. She was the captain of the Karnataka team in the National Championship held at Neyveli in 2009. She is a die hard for the game, and very hopeful AbOUT future of women football in India especially with the grass root as she is also training U 10 girls in a school
