Amir Saleem

Amir Saleem is a singer from Pakistan. He is also a composer and song writer.

Early life

Aamir Saleem was born in Multan. He started singing when he was in school and he bought his first guittar after working in a hotel in summer holidays. He formed his first music band with his best friend Masood Ally (he is a wonderful composer, song writer and a mystic person). Aamir Saleem formed his group with his best friends Naveed Mugees Sheikh,Aalim Arshid, and Taqi Mustahsan. His first music band was Image. After that he moved to Karachi in 1987 and worked hard to make name in music world; he used to sing with different bands to make money and record his first album that took three years to complete. He worked very hard in his early days, he use to paste his posters on the streets of Karachi by himself day and night, in short, there was a long struggle behind Aamir's success.

His first solo album, Musafir, was a hit in 1991 amongst The All age groups: his song Taroon Bhari Rateen was hit and his album sold well; it was released by Shalimar records. But unfortunately Saleem could not get financial benefits from his best selling album. He left the country and went to USA when he was SUPER hit, people and media was looking for him and he was making sandwiches in fort lourdale florida .

Aamir Saleem by nature is a lonely, sensitive, emotional, loving and caring person. A long time ago, he was deeply and madly in love with a girl in medical profession.

Aamir saleem is the only pakistani soft romantc singer,even though thers is a lots of singers but aamir saleem style , voice and compositions are amazingly wonderfull. He is also the only pakistani singer who got less amount of projection and promotion from print and electronic media becouse of aamirs quiteness and lonliness

Apart from music aamir is in to tv productions, he has directed many videos and road show with famous ancher ali salman on Mtv pakistan with the name of Bad Co,he also making a documentry. He is hosting a live show on pakistan television ptv national and also on fm 107..
