Aminata Diarra
Aminata Diarra (born 24 February 1970) is a Malian sprinter. She competed in the and at the 1988 Summer Olympics.
Career
Diarra entered in the . She ran 26.46 seconds to finish 3rd in her heat and did not advance. She was also entered in the 100 metres, but did not start that race.
Diarra qualified in both the 100 metres and 200 metres at the 1988 Olympics. In the 100 metres, she ran 12.87 seconds to place 8th in her heat without advancing. In the 200 m, she ran 25.81 seconds for 7th and did not advance. Both times were personal bests.
Personal life
Diarra was impressed with the hanbok traditional Korean clothing at the 1988 Games worn for the Chuseok holiday. She said she planned to wear one of the dresses for her wedding ceremony.
