American Adolph
The American Adolph is a fictional supervillain in the DC Universe. His sole appearance was in Sensation Comics #21 (September 1943).
Fictional character biography
The man who would become known as the "American Adolph" was a criminal. Like his Nazi namesake, the American Adolph also penned a prison manifesto, entitled My War Against Society, in which he detailed his plot to organize a massive criminal network nation-within-the-nation. After escaping prison, he managed to organize a criminal army as outlined in his book, and attempted to take over America. The American Adolph managed to capture Wonder Woman, drug her into a coma, and use her as a hostage after taking over a prison. The Amazon is freed by her friends Paula and the Holiday Girls, and manages to capture the American Adolph. He has not been seen since.
