Ameerh H. Naran
Ameerh H. Naran, (born January 19, 1986) is a Zimbabwean Serial entrepreneur and investor known as the CEO of Vimana Private Jets and Managing Director of Ameeri Investments Pvt. Ltd.
Early life and education
Ameerh Naran was born January 19, 1986, in Harare, Zimbabwe. He was born to father Hashmook Prag Naran, entrepreneur whose businesses include shoe factory ContE Shoes which was the largest independent manufacturer in Southern Africa and mother Hemlata Naran (maiden name Ranchod) whose business portfolio has included an Ivory factory, art gallery, beauty salon, 13 shoe shops, an Indian oriental garment store, marble import business and Chicken Farm.His paternal grandfather was famous Industrialist, philanthropist and Nationalist for the struggle of Zimbabwe’s independence Prag Naran.
Naran has one sibling, jewellery brand Atelier Vayshalee Naran owner, Vayshalee Naran. He attended St John’s Preparatory School from 1993-1998 and St John’s College from 1999-2005.
At age of four, Naran had aspirations of becoming a Formula One driver. He has always had a strong interest in business. His first foray into business was at the age 4 where he would catch tadpoles and sell them to his fellow nursery school pupils.
Naran graduated from University of Sussex – Brighton, United Kingdom where he studied Product Design (BSc). (2005-2008)
Career
Whilst still at college Ameerh Naran began trading in commodities such as copper, fuel, cement, gold, diamonds and gym fitness equipment with CESA srl., a trading company in Modena, Italy as well as Torrani Partnership in Thailand who appointed him as their representative for Europe and Africa. Genesis Fitness, a fitness equipment manufacturer in South Africa appointed him as their agent for Zimbabwe.
Naran was the managing director Conte Shoes (Pvt) Ltd from June 2006 to September 2006. He has been the Managing Director of Ameeri Investments Pvt. Ltd since July 2008 till date. He was the Managing Director for Africa and Asia at Blue Star Jets LLC from November 2009 to April 2016.
From 2012 – 2015 Naran lobbied with the Government of Zimbabwe to legalise the sale of [...] toys/[...] aids in the country as they were banned. In 2015 he succeed, the government legalized the sale of [...] aids in the country and awarded Naran’s company Good Vibrations the sole rights to distribute in the country.
Naran has been the Chief Executive Officer for Vimana Private Jets since April 2016 till date.
In 2015 Naran was outbid when he attempted to purchase BMW powered German supercar manufacturer, Wiesmann. He has since started Naran Automotive, a supercar manufacturing firm that will be launching its first front engine rear wheel drive supercar in March 2020 at the Geneva Motor Show.

Naran has engaged in Kart racing professionally since the age of 14.
