Ambassador of Colombia to Italy

The Ambassador of Colombia to Italy is the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Colombia to the Italian Republic, accredited as Concurrent Non-Resident Ambassador to the Republic of Albania, Republic of Cyprus, the Hellenic Republic, the Republic of Malta, and the Most Serene Republic of San Marino, as well as Permanent Representative to the Food and Agriculture Organization, the World Food Programme, and the International Fund for Agricultural Development.

The Ambassador is Colombia's foremost diplomatic representative to Italy, and Chief of Mission in Rome. The Ambassador however, is not the only Colombian diplomat in Italy, the other one being the Ambassador of Colombia to the Holy See whose mission is also located in Rome. The officeholder is charged with representing the interests of the President and Government of Colombia and advancing the relations between Colombia and the accredited countries and organizations.
