Alternative Pro Wrestling
Alternative Pro Wrestling is an American independent professional wrestling promotion based in Royston, Georgia. The company is partnered with NWA Anarchy, which does nationally syndicated television programming and shares talent with APW.
History
The company was originally based in Bowman, Georgia but relocated to Royston, Georgia in late 2006. APW promoted its first live event in Royston in January 2007. All events are held at the APW arena located inside the Cherry Street Gymnasium.
In August 2008, Alternative Pro launched its first web based programming, APW Aftershock. Aftershock highlights matches and InterViews from each week's event. The show is hosted on Youtube.com.
Alternative Pro Wrestling promotes weekly shows on Fridays, which serve as tapings for APW Aftershock. These tapings culminate three major events, which include Spring Break Bash, Freedom Fight, and Nightmare on Cherry Street.
