Altai Oncology

Altai Inc., doing business as Altai Oncology, is an American health information technology company that develops medical software for hematology and oncology. Established in 2013, the company provides desktop and mobile platforms used in chemotherapy management, protocol libraries, and oncology care.

Overview

Altai was founded in 2013 in the United States under the name Altai LLC by Ulas Darda Bayraktar. In 2019, the company was incorporated as Altai Inc. Its software development and research operations are carried out by its Turkish affiliate, Altay Tıp Sağlık Yazılım AŞ, which holds ISO 13485 certification for quality management in the medical device sector.

The company’s flagship product, Altai Oncology Suite, was introduced as a Windows desktop application designed for cancer centers and infusion clinics. The software is CE-marked as a Class IIb medical device under the European Medical Device Regulations. The platform includes chemotherapy order entry, dose calculation, scheduling, pharmacy modules, cancer registry functions, reporting, and billing. The company also developed the Altai Oncology Mobile App, which is available for both Android and iOS. The application provides access to the protocol library, staging modules, and oncology calculators.

In 2015, Altai initiated the development of a protocol library, which, as of 2025, comprises over 1,000 curated chemotherapy and hematology protocols.This database is integrated into both the desktop and mobile applications.

Altai maintains addresses in both Turkey and the United States, where it operates. The US office is located at 30 N Gould St, Suite 6801, Sheridan, Wyoming, while the Turkish office is in Çankaya, Ankara.
