Allons en France
Allons en France (AEF) is an annual contest supported by the French Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs that rewards the best francophone students in the world each year by offering them a trip to France where culture is a key component. Launched in connection with the 1998 Football World Cup, it is open to all French language students, of any nationality, ages 16 to 20. The program aims to help students discover even more aspects of French culture through new experiences and relationships, as well as to help integrate them into the world of the Francophonie. Each year, 200 young people are selected from 40,000 candidates from every country of the world. Allons en France has enabled the creation of a community of high-level young French speakers on all five continents.
