Alexander Bothe

Alexander Ross Bothe (born March 17, 1998) is a technology entrepreneur, engineer and startup advisor known for founding and leading early-stage companies in AI, financial infrastructure and developer tooling. He has been associated with ventures including Fireboard AI, Redflag AI, Hireboard, Peertol, ClearCredits and a small network of advisory/VC projects.

Early Life and Education

Bothe attended Cedarburg High School in Wisconsin, where he was a three-year letterwinner in football, served as team captain, earned first-team all-conference honors, WFCA Academic All-State recognition, and was a member of the National Honor Society and Scholar Athlete programs.

Bothe attended Washington University in St. Louis and received Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.

During his time at Washington University, he was also part of the university's football program (WashU Bears).

Career

At Redflag AI, Bothe worked on engineering and research leadership. He is the founder and a principal technologist behind Fireboard Intelligence, a venture focused on applying agentic automation and large-scale machine learning to content discovery and performance optimization.

Bothe co-founded Hireboard, a platform aimed at streamlining hiring workflows for engineering and product teams by combining structured candidate evaluation tools, async interview mechanisms, and automated shortlisting.

Bothe later co-founded Optikka, a collaborative project with technologist Daniel Evans, and helped design AI-driven systems for visual intelligence and analytics. Currently, Bothe serves as the CTO at Optikka. Bothe has also advised on numerous emerging projects that integrate distributed systems, creative tools, and autonomous agents.
