Aleksi Lepistö

Aleksi Lepistö (Born January 2, 1987) is a Finnish-American basketball player living in Helsinki, Finland. He weighs 175 pounds and is 6'4" tall, and primarily a point guard, but also spends some time as a shooting guard.

Personal Background

After being born in Helsinki, Lepistö moved to Portland, Oregon. While growing up, he suffered from Slipped capital femoral epiphysis but no longer has complications due to a successful operation.

Basketball Background

Lepistö did not attend college in the United States, and instead performed a tryout for professional basketball teams in the Korisliiga.

Career

Lepistö will play a small amount of preseason games with ToPo during the start of the 2007-2008 season.

Accomplishments

In his first game in the Korisliiga, Lepistö set a new record for turnovers in a game, with 11, however tied the single game assist record with 17. Since these are preseason stats, they will not be entered into the official records.
