Alec Farrar Limited is a manufacturing company in Christchurch, New Zealand. The company possess departments for non ferrous casting, heat treatment of metals, punchpress work, manual and cnc milling machines, cnc and manual turning and powdercoating. All facilities are within the same building. The SAFA brand of toolboxes and other tool storage solutions are also manufactured in the same building.

Alec Farrar Limited was originally a firm called Bristow & Co formed in the 1880s. The original premises was on Madras Street in Christchurch, New Zealand. In 1931, the founder and owner of Bristow & Co died and an employee named Alec Farrar purchased and renamed the firm in his name. During the 1960s the firm expanded and began to manufacture the Safa toolboxes brand. During 1977, the company moved premises to the current location of 231 Dyers Road in Bromley, Christchurch.
