Alan Mulcahy

Alan Mulcahy (born 17 December 1983 in Dublin) is an Irish football player who is currently playing with Waterford United in the Eircom League First Division.

Mulcahy attended IT Tallaght, whom he represented in soccer. While there he was twice chosen for the Irish Colleges International team, in 2004/05 and 2005/06. He journeyed with the team to places like America and Cyprus where he was part of the team that enjoyed a good win over a professional Cypriot side in January 2004 12.

Before signing for Kildare County at the beginning of the 2006 season Mulcahy plied his trade at Kilkenny City and the now defunct Dublin City. He made 24 league appearances scoring from the penalty spot against Finn Harps once for Kildare County in Ballybofey. He was released at the end of the 2006 season and signed for Waterford United.
