History
Akraya was founded in April 2001 in Sunnyvale, California during the dotcom bubble burst. Founders Amar Panchal and Sonu Ratra originally focused on technology staffing. As the company grew, Akraya added marketing and creative as well as managed services & projects to its offering. In 2009, Akraya opened CORE (Center of Recruiting Excellence) in Pune, India to support the US office with the increasing business needs. Today, besides its California headquarters, Akraya maintains offices in Washington, North Carolina, as well as globally in India and Canada.
