Akintunde Akinbo

Akintunde Akinbo (born October 23, 1992) is a Nigerian Cybersecurity expert known for pioneering the use of artificial intelligence in compliance and risk management systems by developing AI-powered tools that automate compliance audits and enhance organizational crisis readiness. His works earned him recognition for IT Personality of the Year at the Eko Heritage Awards in 2025.

Education and Career

Akintunde was born in Lagos state but originally hails from Ilé-Ifẹ̀ in Osun State. He holds a degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ogun State, Nigeria, and an MSc in Cybersecurity from Sheffield Hallam University.

Akintunde is known for developing Cybersecurity solutions. Among the solutions is a platform that automates compliance tracking and simplifies regulatory reporting.
