Akhilesh (writer)
Akhilesh (6 June 1960) was an Indian writer. He also writes scripts and screenplays for TV. He edits and publishes a literary quarterly Tadbhav from Lucknow.

Akhilesh was born on June 1960 in Sultanpur, Uttar Pradesh.
Writing
Akhilesh has published three collections of short fiction - Aadmi Nahin Tootata, Mukti and Shaapgrast - one novel, Anveshan, and a book on the Hindi novelist Shrilal Shukla.

His awards include the Shrikant Verma Award, Banmali Award, Ayodhya Prasad Khatr, Parimal Samman and the Indu Sharma Fiction Prize of Katha (U.K.).
