Ajanbahu Lohana
Ajanbahu Lohana was a general of Prithviraj Chauhan noted for his bravery.
One day, Prithvi asks his generals - who can jump from this height - the height mentioned is as batees (thirty-two) times length of ones hand. On hearing this one of his General Lohana (Ajanbahu) jumps but he gets injured in doing so. Prithvi takes him to his palace and gets him treated by his Rajvaidya. It is said he recovers completely after nine days. Prithvi becomes happy upon this news and gives him five hundred villages as gift as a jagir.
Prithviraj Raso composed by Chand Bardai, mentions the bravery of Ajanbahu Lohana and how seeing his bravery and fight in war against Muhammad of Ghor, Prithviraj Chauhan embraces him.
Prithvi’s second wife was Jamvati, the princess of Orchha. Her father, King Jasvant first agreed to marry his daughter to Prithviraj Chauhan but later changed his mind. This led to war between armies of Ajmer and Orchha in which Prithvi's army was led by Ajanbhau Lohana, who defeated Raja Jasvant of Orchha and conquered his fort for Ajmer. Prithvi gives that fort to Lohana to take care of. After the defeat Jasvant agreed to marry his daughter to Prithviaj Chauhan.
