Aisa Group (stylized as AISA Group) is a Canada-based private holding company with business interests in mining, renewable energy, seafood and agriculture, with an important operating footprint in Argentina.
History
According to the company, Aisa Group entered Argentina’s mining sector in 2023 through the acquisition of Minas Argentinas S.A., operator of the Gualcamayo gold and silver mine in San Juan Province.

Mining
In September 2023, Aisa Group acquired 100% of the shares of Minas Argentinas S.A., the company that operates the Gualcamayo gold and silver mine in San Juan Province, Argentina, after the asset had been put up for sale by its prior owner as a non-core property. Industry and financial press later described the transaction as a turning point for the operation, which had been nearing a closure phase, with the new owner reporting restructuring efforts and the restart of exploration activity following the acquisition.. The Canadian company has communicated exploration and expansion plans in the district, including the Deep Carbonates project, which has been linked to a proposed investment plan of about USD 665 million.
Renewable energy
In 2025, industry press reported that Aisa Group began construction of the Calicanto solar photovoltaic project (51 MWp) in San Luis Province, Argentina, with a planned commercial operation date in December 2026.
Seafood
In January 2025, Aisa Group announced the acquisition of the Argentine fishing company Cabo Vírgenes S.A. The Canada-based conglomerate invested USD 42 million to acquire the Argentine fishing firm, according to reports.
