Aina Asif

Aina Asif (Urdu: عینا آصف, born 27 September 2008) is a Pakistani child actress and model who works in Urdu television dramas.

Early life

Aina Asif was born on 27 September 2008 in Karachi, Pakistan, into a middle-class family. Her father is a businessman who owns a car showroom, and her mother is a homemaker. Her family has a mixed cultural background: her father belongs to the Kutchi Memon community, while her mother is of Punjabi descent. She is the youngest of three siblings. She has an elder brother, Ahmed Asif, who is also a television actor, and an elder sister, Labib Asif. Her cousin, Muhammad Hassaan, is a singer and actor. Asif is studying at an international school in Karachi. She has expressed a desire to pursue higher education abroad.

Career

Asif began her career as a child model, appearing in television commercials for brands including PTCL, Kashmir Cooking Oil, Fortified Chakki Atta, and Alfalah Bank.

She made her acting debut in 2021 with a role in the ARY Digital series Pehli Si Muhabbat, in which she played a younger version of Maya Ali's character. In 2022, she appeared in the Hum TV Ramadan special Hum Tum (2022 TV series).

Asif's breakthrough came in 2023 when she played the lead role of Annie in the ARY Digital social drama Mayi Ri, which dealt with the issue of child marriage. She has since taken on a wide range of television roles, including dual characters in the 2025 drama Judwaa (TV series). In the same year, she played the lead role of Maya in the Geo Entertainment drama Parwarish. She also appeared in the 2025 Hum TV Ramadan special Tum Larkay Bhi Na.

Asif is also a YouTuber. Her official channel has over 1.5 million subscribers, where she uploads vlogs and challenge videos. She is also active on TikTok and Snapchat.

In March 2026, Aina appeared on a Chand Raat special show hosted by actor Imran Ashraf and spoke about experiencing uncomfortable situations on set with senior actors. She alleged that such treatment was often directed at young actors who lacked a strong family background in the industry. Her comments received support from actress Alizeh Shah.
