Agriya is an Indian web development and mobile application development company headquartered in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. Agriya helps startups, entrepreneurs and medium scale enterprises to start niche specific websites. It has its virtual office in the USA and various countries in Europe. Its officially registered in the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
History
Agriya was co founded by Aravind Kumar in 2000. He is the current CTO of the company. The company was registered as a partnership firm in the registrar of companies, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.
On 12 June 2008, Agriya was featured in Forbes for its Facebook clone script "Kootali". In early July 2010, they had around 100 FOSS/Linux professionals in its workforce. On 9 March 2011, Agriya was featured in The New York Times for its GroupOn clone script, "GroupDeal".
