History

Agnes Valentine is a luxe contemporary swimwear brand founded by French designer Agnès Cushnie in 2009. The label came out of a vision to offer sophisticated timeless swimwear, to wear in and out of the water.

The first collection was launched at New York Fashion Week in 2009.The following year, a junior collection, targeting little girls was introduced and instantly picked by leading e-tailers and top tier department stores in Europe and Asia.

Recognition

The brand is committed to pushing the boundaries of swimwear design and has featured in several national and international publications.

In summer 2011 it was listed in Vogue UK’s “Top 30 Swimsuits” compilation. Celebrities whose children were seen wearing Agnes Valentine include Mariah Carey and Kourtney Kardashian.

In 2011 the brand was an awarded finalist at prestigious industry competition “Talent de Intima” supporting lingerie and swimwear brands across the globe. The following year Agnes Valentine designed an exclusive capsule collection for mail order and e-commerce company 3 Suisses available both online and in their print catalogue.
