Agile World ®

Agile World® is a nonprofit organisation that produces educational and media content related to Agile practice. The organisation was originally established as a 501(c)(3) charity in Hollywood, California, before later relocating its base of operations to Geneva, Switzerland. Agile World® focuses on creating freely accessible interviews, discussions, and learning materials produced by volunteers.

History

Agile World® developed from volunteer activities associated with the Agile20Reflect Festival in 2021, a global community-led event marking the 20th anniversary of the Agile Manifesto. During the festival, volunteers produced interviews, discussions, and peer‑to‑peer learning sessions across multiple regions and languages. After the festival concluded, some contributors continued this work, leading to the formation of Agile World® as a separate nonprofit initiative.

Activities

Agile World® produces media content focused on Agile-related topics, including interviews with practitioners, discussions on Agile methods, and community-led educational programming. Content is distributed through online video and podcast platforms and is available without charge. The organisation supports contributors who create programming in multiple languages and regions, reflecting its peer‑to‑peer learning approach.
