Adidas F50
The Adidas F50 range of football boots is Adidas's signature line of lightweight boots. First released in 2004, in the build-up to UEFA Euro 2004, the range was released as a competitor for Nike's Mercurial Vapor range, which had been released two years earlier.
+F50 II Tunit is a name for the Adidas football boots which came out in 2007. They are the second generation of the F50 Tunits with slightly different design and performance. They are specially designed for different playing surfaces. They come with 3 sets of studs: short studs for hard ground, normal studs for firm ground and the long studs for soft ground. The chassis can be switched around between "light weight", "comfort" and "performance". The uppers may also be switched around to better suit the player. Uppers are specially made for the weather conditions, including "Climacool" uppers for hot weather and "Climawarm" for cold weather; there are leather uppers for a more traditional feel, or synthetic leather. +F50 II Tunits come in many varieties and colours, such as the limited EDition and newly released macaw slime, yellow and black, victory blue, red and dutch orange. adidas-sponsored teams also have uppers designed with their colours. adidas-sponsored teams such as Real Madrid, Chelsea, Liverpool, A.C. Milan, Bayern Munich, and the Germany national football team have uppers with their colours and logos. The F50 football boots are designed especially for more speed orientated players such as strikers, wingers, full back or even goalkeepers. Famous wearers include Lionel Messi, Salomon Kalou, Lukas Podolski, David Odonkor, Arjen Robben, David Trezeguet, John Arne Riise, Emmanuel Adebayor, Kevin Kuranyi, Djibril Cissé and goalkeeper Sébastien Frey. There is also a F50 line for goalkeepers. It is made for goalies that want a glove for all weather conditions, the glove has a backhand which can be zippered to one of the 3 palms: hard, wet and dry. Famous wearer(s) include Sébastien Frey.
