Adamya is one of the fictional kingdoms in Encantadia, the titular setting of a popular Filipino fantasy-themed television saga.

Adamya is the home of the Adamyans, a race of little and diminutive denizens. As told in the show, Adamaya is one of the four kingdoms that comprise present-day Encantadia, the others being Lireo, Sapiro and Hathoria. During the initial episode, Adamya fell to clutches Hathoria alongside the Jewel of Water when the kingdom's conquest over Encantadia transpired. In the prologue of the prequel/sequel series Etheria, Adamya was one of the most powerful kingdoms alongside Etheria, Hathoria and Sapiro.

At present, little is known about the kingdom of Adamya. It is located in the southern tip of Encantadia. The ruler of Adamya possesses a magical staff that enables him to look into the past of a particular person, and it can also enable him to see current events. He can also wield its awesome powers.

In the series, Adamya is associated with water: the kingdom is known for its coastal areas, and the Gem of Water, a powerful Encantadian artifact, was first entrusted to this kingdom.

The legendary Encantadia character was voiced over by Ferdinand John B. Apuyan, a versatile voice dubber since 2005.

Rulers

  • Aegen — He is the first known ruler of Adamya. He is Adamya's representative to the council that was formed as an alliance of the four kingdoms of Lireo, Sapiro, Hathoria and Adamya against Etheria. They were able to destroy Etheria with the gem given to them by the god, Emre. Aegen is the father of Imaw.
  • Imaw — Imaw is the current ruler of Adamya. He is the son of Aegen. During Adamya's fall, he became one of the advisers of Queen Mine-a of Lireo. Imaw is a puppet voiced by Ferdinand John B. Apuyan and Noel Urbano. He goes to the kingdom of Lireo to ask help from Queen Mine-a because Adamya has fallen to the invading Hathors. He becomes an adviser to Mine-a. Imaw possesses a mystical staff that can show past events to shed light on questions asked of the staff. This magical staff also has the ability to shoot a green energy blast

Other Adamyans

  • Banak and Nakba — Banak and Nakba are possible Adamyans. Formerly normal-sized encantados, the usually-cowardly duo were cursed by the goddess Ether, who transformed them into small, Adamyan-like beings for aiding her enemies the four Sang'gres.
  • Dilawan — An elderly Adamyan in the company of Azulan and his crew, who seemingly knows Imaw from before the fall of Adamya.

Geographic Features

Adamya is the kingdom in the South of Encantadia. It once covered the entire shores of the Sea of Adamya(also known as the Southern Sea) and reached up to the southern tips of both the West and East Mountains. However, due to the invasion of the Hathors, the land became desolate and the Adamyan population declined. Most of the remaining Adamyans live in the Adamyan Forest, which lies north of the Southern Sea.

Adamya is a very fertile land. The land is known for its vast plantations and farmlands. Most of the Rivers that come from the mountains flow into Adamya, making the soil fertile.

The Adamyan Forest is characterized by tropical plants and trees. The trees here are fruitful and healthy. Some of the food of the Adamyan race comes from these trees.

Adamya is famous for its beautiful seashores with white sand. The Adamyan sea is the only sea that is represented in the map of Encantadia.
