Adam Kagin
Adam Kagin (born January 14, 1978 in Des Moines, Iowa) is a professional poker player, currently residing in Henderson, Nevada.
Biography
In 2005, Kagin gave up his job in the financial services industry in order to pursue a life as a professional poker player. Though Kagin was born in Iowa, he grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area. He is a graduate of Dunn High School in Los Olivos, California and finished his educational endeavors at Boston University, where he graduated in May 2000 with a degree in Business Administration. From 2000-2005 he worked for a variety of financial services firms in the Bay area, including Gerken Capital Associates, World Pension Forum, and Greenough Consulting Group.
As of 2007, his total live tournament winnings exceed $170,000.
