Adam Jochelson

Adam Jochelson is a professional American soccer goalkeeper currently playing for the Texas Outlaws of the Professional Arena Soccer League. Born in New Jersey, he spent most of his soccer developmental years in Dallas, Texas, playing for clubs like Flame Soccer Club and Hornets. He attended J. J. Pearce High School, and later played at Duke University, where his team earned 3 NCAA tournament berths and one trip to the NCAA Final Four. Injured in his final year in college, he did not pursue professional soccer upon graduation, but returned to the game after several years. He played a year (2001) for the West Dallas Kings of the Premier Development League in the U. S., then travelled to Slovakia where he played for a season with FC Nitra in the Slovak Second Division. He returned to the U. S. and "retired" from professional sports but returned again (this time to indoor soccer) in 2008 to play for the Texas Outlaws. He recently signed a contract to remain with the Outlaws again for the 2009-10 season.
